Constitutional Call to Action Rally Opens the New Year

A “Constitutional Call to Action” will take place on Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Augusta. The event, hosted by the Swinging Gate organization, will include a slate of speakers from 12:30-2 p.m. in the State House outdoor courtyard.

Dignitaries will discuss the Constitutional Freedoms for Maine and address the fact that Maine’s State government not convening in session constitutes regulation without representation. Keynote speaker, Leah Baldacci, Esq., will address the current cancel culture phenomena and how it has affected her business. Other notable guest speakers covering a range of freedom-related issues include Rep. Peter Lyford, Rep. Sherm Hutchins, Rep. Billy Bob Faulkingham, Rep. Justin Fecteau, Rep. Laurel Libby, Rep. Beth O’Connor, Hon. David Nealley, Pastor Ken Graves, Bruce Ashmore, Hon. Larry Lockman, Hon. Eric Brakey, John Linnehan and Hon. Bruce Poliquin.

The Swinging Gate is a loosely bound organization of like-minded people whose mission is to get Maine’s government to operate within the bounds of the Constitution and to lead Maine citizens to action.
